Frequently asked questions

Your questions answered — from joining the network to finding suppliers and supporting Saudi-made opportunities.

About Viksit Bharat NRI

What is Viksit Bharat NRI?

Viksit Bharat NRI is a business networking platform connecting Indian suppliers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and NRI professionals with businesses in Saudi Arabia. Through verified membership, supplier discovery and regional groups, we help members build business relationships and explore commercial opportunities.

How does the platform support Saudi-made products?

We help Saudi manufacturers connect with Indian suppliers of raw materials, components, machinery, technology and industrial expertise. These inputs can support production within the Kingdom, helping businesses develop Saudi-made products and create value locally.

How does this connect with Saudi Vision 2030?

Our aim is to support local manufacturing, knowledge transfer and industrial partnerships, contributing to the manufacturing and economic diversification objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Are all products listed on the platform Saudi-made?

No. The directory includes Indian suppliers and products sourced from India. Our Saudi-made focus concerns how suitable materials, components, equipment and expertise can support manufacturing in Saudi Arabia. A supplier listing does not establish Saudi origin or official Saudi Made programme recognition.

Membership and Approval

Who can apply for membership?

Business owners, manufacturers, procurement professionals, entrepreneurs and NRI professionals with a genuine business purpose may apply. Applicants must provide accurate information and complete the verification process.

Can Saudi businesses join?

Yes. Saudi businesses seeking Indian suppliers, industrial inputs or manufacturing partnerships are welcome to apply, subject to verification and approval.

How do I become a member?

Complete the membership application, verify your email and mobile number, and participate in a review call with your assigned Group Head. The Group Head submits a recommendation, and a Super Admin makes the final approval decision.

What information will I need?

You will need your name, company details, job title, email address, mobile number, location, business category and reason for joining. Supporting company documents may be requested during the review.

How long does approval take?

Approval time depends on the completeness of your application and the verification process. Providing accurate details and responding promptly to requests helps avoid delays. You will receive updates as your application progresses.

Can I use the supplier directory immediately after registering?

Directory access is available once your membership is approved. Registration alone does not provide access to detailed supplier profiles or contact information.

How can I check my application status?

Sign in to your account to view your application status and any requests for additional information.

Can membership be suspended or revoked?

Yes. Membership may be suspended or revoked for violations of platform rules, including false information, misuse of supplier data, account sharing or other substantiated misconduct. Submitting a genuine supplier complaint is not, by itself, grounds for suspension.

Business Groups

What are business groups?

Business groups organize members by region, creating smaller communities supported by a Group Head. They help members stay informed and build relationships within their business environment.

Can I choose my group?

You can select an available preferred group when applying. If that group cannot currently support your application, a Super Admin will assign a suitable group.

What does a Group Head do?

A Group Head reviews applications, conducts verification calls, supports group communication and reviews complaints assigned to the group. Final membership approval remains with the Super Admin.

Can visitors see group members and discussions?

No. Member lists, internal announcements and group activity are restricted to approved members and authorized administrators according to their access permissions.

Suppliers and Sourcing

What can I find in the supplier directory?

You can explore listed suppliers offering products and services, including raw materials, components, machinery, equipment and industrial expertise. Available listings will expand as the network grows.

How can I find suppliers relevant to my business?

Approved members can search the directory using keywords and available filters, such as product, service, category and location, then review supplier profiles.

Can suppliers manage their own profiles?

Currently, supplier profiles are created and maintained by the administration team. Suppliers do not have separate accounts to edit their listings.

Does supplier verification guarantee quality or delivery?

No. Verification provides information to help members assess suppliers; it is not a guarantee of product quality, financial reliability or contract performance. Before placing an order, members should independently check specifications, certifications, commercial terms and the supplier's ability to fulfil their requirements.

What does a supplier’s risk classification mean?

Risk classifications are internal administrative assessments informed by verification findings and complaint history. They help administrators review suppliers and determine appropriate action. Confidential assessments and investigation notes are not publicly displayed.

Can I download or share the supplier database?

Membership does not authorize bulk copying, resale or distribution of supplier data. Members must use directory information responsibly and follow the platform's access and confidentiality rules.

Completed Business and Feedback

Can I record business completed with a supplier?

Yes. Approved members can submit completed-business records and supplier feedback through their account. Records are reviewed before being included in approved platform statistics or published content.

Will my transaction value or documents be published?

Transaction values and supporting documents are confidential. Publication as a success story requires your permission, and only the approved information should be shared.

Supplier Complaints

What should I do if I have a problem with a supplier?

Where practical, first contact the supplier to explain the issue and request a resolution. Approved members can then submit a complaint through the platform, describing the issue and providing supporting evidence.

What evidence should I provide?

Relevant evidence may include purchase orders, invoices, payment records, delivery documents, photographs, inspection reports and correspondence with the supplier. Provide only documents relevant to the complaint.

What happens after I submit a complaint?

The complaint is screened and, where accepted, assigned for review. The assigned reviewer may request further information, contact the supplier and assess both parties' evidence before recording an outcome.

Can the supplier respond?

Yes. The assigned Group Head or authorized administrator contacts the supplier and records its response and supporting information in the complaint file.

Will my complaint be visible to other members?

Your complaint details and evidence are not published for general member viewing. Access is restricted according to the complaint process. Administrators may update a supplier's availability or member-facing status where appropriate, while protecting confidential case information.

Will submitting a complaint affect my membership?

A genuine complaint submitted in good faith does not, by itself, affect your membership. False information, malicious complaints or misuse of the process may lead to action under platform rules.

Does the platform guarantee a refund or settlement?

No. The platform provides a structured process for reviewing concerns and facilitating communication. Outcomes depend on the evidence and the parties involved; the platform cannot guarantee a refund, replacement or settlement.

Privacy and Support

Who can access my private documents?

Access depends on the purpose of the document and the user's role. Membership documents, transaction evidence and complaint records are restricted to authorized users and reviewers. Information relevant to a supplier's response may be shared through the controlled complaint process.

Can I see internal complaint notes?

Complainants can view the case status, available progress updates and the recorded outcome. Internal investigation notes remain restricted to authorized reviewers.

Can I share my login with a colleague?

No. Each account should be used only by its registered account holder. Colleagues should submit their own membership applications.

How can I contact the team?

Visit the Contact page for the appropriate support channel. Existing applicants and members should include their application or complaint reference, where applicable, to help the team locate their record.
